YOU'RE NEVER TO OLD TO PLAY DRESS UP!

I had so much fun playing dress up for this photo at a convention I attended in Dallas, Texas and thought it would be fitting for the name of my boutiques blog - Who said you can't play dress up after 50?

I always did like playing dress up and always dreamed of owning a boutique. Who knew that a family vacation in Puerto Rico, and while on a snorkeling excursion no less, that I would meet Lynette, an Illinois boutique owner who would share a few secrets with me over lunch on a Hobi. While I experienced my aha! moment, I looked over at my husband and we both knew my dream was far from impossible. Our boutique was already in the works before we even left Puerto Rico. That was April of 2016. Till this day I feel God placed Lynette and her group on that Hobi with me, my hubby and boys that day because I was in a dark place in my life from an incident that happened to me a few years earlier.

Fast forward to today. Never does a day go by that I don't thank God for all the blessings he has given me, or directed me to. It is all in His plan and I truly owe all the Glory to Him. I am where I am suppose to be, finally! Yes, Lynette and I still keep in touch and I just have to say that I think it is the coolest thing to see other women support, encourage, andinspire other women to love themselves and believe in themselves. Thank you Lynette!

Back to the boutique...to say I play dress up for a living is pretty accurate. I also get to do what Lynette did for me. The concept of women helping other women truly benefits both parties, while demonstrating just how powerful a force females can be when they support one another. I do it every day and love it. Building confidence and friendships along the way. Our customers are the best. They are what keep me going!

We are active members in our local Chamber of Commerce and we also donate a portion of our clothing to a well established organization in our community.

hope you'll check us out online or in person. I look forward to meeting you soon.
