We have big news to share.

This post is a lot different than most of my posts and is the hardest one I have ever had to write. Seven years ago, I took a giant leap of faith and opened a boutique in my home, which moved into my current location just 20 months later. Who opens a business at 50 I was asked and was even called crazy by some, but God guided me and I trusted in Him, EVERY, SINGLE step of the way.

I am sure you all know I didn’t open Lizzy’s to get rich. I felt a calling to help women look and feel their best and have met some amazing people along the way. We have laughed together and we have cried together and many have become my friends. The passion and dedication that has gone into running my business cannot be put into words, but unfortunately the demands of owning my business was great, especially with mine and Andy’s health. We have also missed out on so many other things such as time spent with family and grandchildren and our love of traveling.

So after many months of discussion, it is with a VERY heavy heart, I have made the extremely hard decision to end this chapter and will be closing my downtown Sycamore location. I will still operate with the help of family my online business, and will move the Nora Fleming to D&D Jeweler’s and also plan on having some of my local items that Sweet Earth used to carry at 35:35 Makers Collective. Trunk shows and pop ups are also already being scheduled at two Sycamore merchants.

With that being said… our last day in our brick and mortar location will be June 30th, 2023. I am not really sure what July 1st will bring nor how Fiona and Dallas will feel not going to the boutique, One thing is for sure, we have been honored to serve you and will MISS each and every one of you!

Starting May 1st, 2023

ALL sales will be final, and no returns or exchanges will be accepted.

We will be offering sales on merchandise that isn’t being moved

No coupons will be accepted

Gift Cards must be redeemed prior to May 31st, 2023 and will not be accepted on Nora Fleming or Makers Items.

Credit Cards accepted, but we would prefer cash and/or local check.

Store fixtures will be for sale starting May 1st, to be picked up at a later date.

June 1st – June 30th, 2023

We will no longer accept credit or debit cards and will no longer have a machine to process gift cards.

We will only be accepting cash and local checks, at our discretion.

Purchases after July 1st, 2023

Back to business online as well as trunk shows and pop-ups

Returns and exchanges will be accepted on items purchased after July 1st, 2023.

Thank you to all of my loyal customers who have supported me throughout this journey. This isn’t good bye, it is see you later if you will!! I hope you will continue to shop my online boutique and visit 35:35 Makers Collective and D&D Jewelers. Who knows, you might just see me there from time to time, in-between all the new adventures Andy & I can’t wait to embark on.
